COCONUT SURF EXPERIENCE

Our Phylosophy:

At Coconut Surf Experience, we believe surfing is much more than just standing up on a board — it’s about connecting with the ocean, yourself, and the natural rhythm of Fuerteventura. Our philosophy focuses on quality over quantity, offering small-group lessons of up to four people at the same level to ensure truly personalized coaching and real progress. Every session is tailored to your pace and goals, with safety and enjoyment always coming first. More than a surf school, we’re an experience designed to help you live surfing with passion, awareness, and authenticity.

Guillermo Cano

Founder of Coconut Surf Experience

Guillermo Cano, founder of Coconut Surf Experience, is a passionate surfer and ocean lover who created the school with one clear goal: to offer a personal, mindful approach to surf coaching in Fuerteventura. With over 25 years of surfing experience and 10 years of teaching, he combines technical knowledge, patience, and genuine enthusiasm to help each student progress with confidence and joy. He speaks French, Spanish, Catalan, English, and Italian, allowing him to connect naturally with students from all over the world. After more than six years living on the island, he knows Fuerteventura’s surf spots inside out and carefully selects the best ones for each level and condition. His approach goes beyond technique — it’s about sharing the true spirit of surfing and a deep respect for the ocean.
